Privacy policy

SealedApply is operated by Huckleberry Co. LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we"). This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

Two kinds of users

Organizations (and their hiring team members) use SealedApply to run hiring searches. Applicants submit applications to those organizations. For applicant data, the organization decides how it is used, and we process it on their behalf.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, organization name, logo.
• Application details: whatever the organization's apply page asks for, such as name, email, phone, resume, cover letter, links, and answers.
• Committee activity: ratings, comments, and stage changes.
• Billing details, handled by Stripe. We never see full card numbers.
• Basic usage and device data needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide the service: show applications to the right team, send confirmation and status emails, and produce AI summaries when the organization turns them on.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.
• To send account and billing messages.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use application content to train AI models.

Service providers

We use these companies to run SealedApply: Supabase (database and file storage), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI review), and Stripe (payments). Each one may only use data to provide its service to us.

Retention and deletion

Application files are deleted 12 months after a search closes unless the organization picks a shorter period or deletes them sooner. Account data is kept while the account is open and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request, except where we must keep billing records by law.

Applicants can ask for deletion by emailing hello@sealedapply.com. We will tell the organization and delete the application unless the organization has a legal reason to keep it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Applicant files are only reachable by signed-in hiring team members of that search, through links that expire.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, or delete your information. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

SealedApply is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

We'll post changes here and update the date above. Material changes are emailed to account owners.
